Until Cassandra Pierce crashes into his world. After a life-changing moment he never anticipated, he realizes that loving her is only the beginning.
A whirlwind of days…
Then it all comes tumbling down, and Jason learns that the hardest part of living…of loving…is letting go.
This is Jason’s story.
**Letting Go is a Full Length Companion Novel to the Keaton Series and is told in Jason’s (Jase) POV **
I have a feeling I was one of the first to begin this book as well as finish it. I sat down, braced myself for a long night, and finished it in one sitting. I knew right off the bat, this book would have me bawling my eyes out, but I wouldn’t be able to put it down. I wasn’t disappointed.
Having been a huge fan and follower of the Keaton Series by B.A. Wolfe, when she mentioned writing this book I lost my mind. I was so incredibly excited to read it, but I knew I would have my heart broken, and hard. I just didn’t realize that seeing things from Jase’s perspective, even before he ever meets Cassie, would be even more heartbreaking in its own right.
I loved everything about this book. From the backstory of Jase to the fateful collision and the feeling of moments, all the way to the most heartbreaking moments I put myself through all over again. Jase is a character that although he’s going through a hard time in his life, we could all learn something from him. When you love, love hard. The smallest moments in life are the most important, not the ones you can describe, just the ones where all you can do is feel. Don’t overthink life, it’s too complicated, just enjoy it for what it is.
I know I am rambling in this review. It is by far not one of the best I’ve written and for that I am sorry. This book has a way of stirring emotions to the point that even days (or weeks/months) later, you still feel it. I used a total of 4 kleenex boxes while reading this book. #TeamKleenex I HIGHLY recommend this book and the entire Keaton Series. I have to say, as a reader, you need to read Away before any of the others.
B.A. Wolfe wrote another heartbreaking/amazing story about love, life, and enjoying the little moments. I wish I could give this more than 5 stars because I believe it deserves them all. #GreenLight
B.A. Wolfe is a girl with a passion for reading and writing, and lives in the good old state of Colorado with her husband (her biggest cheerleader), and her two crazy min pin fur babies. These days, her life is anything but calm, and there isn’t one thing she’d want to change. B.A. spends all her free time either furiously typing stories on her laptop or happily reading through her endless TBR on her Kindle. Her list of favorites would be long enough to fill a book, but most would likely fall under the romance category. She is a sucker for a good love story that makes her cry, and an amazing book boyfriend who will melt her heart.
